The 2014/15 report by the practice’s Patient Participation Group has just been published.
The practice now offers on-line access through the Patient Access website. You can use this service to make appointments, order repeat prescriptions, and view your basic medical record.
If you would like to use this service, please ask at reception for an application form. You will need to complete this and provide some identification (including photographic indentification). When your application has been processed you will be given the details required to register with Patient Access.
The practice will soon be offering an appointment reminder service by text message to your mobile phone. If you want to sign up for this service please ask at the reception desk for a form, which you should complete and hand back to the staff.
Our practice at the Victoria Health Centre was inspected by the Care Quality Commission on 3rd November 2014. Their report has just been published. We were assessed as ‘good’ (meaning “the service is performing well and meeting our expectations”) in all areas. They considered the practice to be ‘safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led’.
The layout of the practice website has been changed to make it more legible on mobile phones and tablets, which are used by over 50% of our visitors.
