Victoria and Mapperley Practice is now part of the Nottingham City East Primary Care Network (PCN). As part of being a PCN our patients have access to an additional workforce, which will expand over the coming years. These additional roles include team members such as Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and Physiotherapists:
Shilan Darwish (Clinical Pharmacist)
Shilan works with us on Monday’s and Wednesday’s and is currently working with the GPs to support our patients with their medication reviews. She is also involved in some of the administrative work relating to medication.
Andy Simpkins (Social Prescriber)
Andrew can support patients with social care issues, give guidance on how to access areas such as welfare rights, debt advice and food banks. He is also very aware of what is happening in the community that could support patients of Victoria and Mapperley Practice.
Andrea Cutrupi (Physiotherapist)
Andrea is our first contact physiotherapist. If you have any musculoskeletal concerns then you may be offered a face-to-face appointment with one of our PCN physiotherapists to assess the problem and to discuss potential treatment options.
Hilton Mabhurukwa (Physiotherapist)
Hilton also works with the practice as a first contact physiotherapist. Hilton is currently dealing with patients musculoskeletal concerns over the telephone where appropriate and can then book a face-to-face appointment with his colleague Andrea or one of the GPs at the practice.
