Appointment system update

Happy new year to all of our patients!

We have been trying to improve the way that appointments are offered within the practice, but understand there have been some frustrations with the triage system.

From January, we are therefore going to revert to phoning at 8am for an urgent appointment which will be booked by the administrative team. We will have a triage list at lunchtime still; if you feel you problem could be dealt with over the phone or would prefer a call back, please ask the administrative staff who will put you on this list.

Examples of problems which can be dealt with easily over the phone include sick notes, prescription queries and some minor illnesses.

On Mondays, due to high demand for appointments, we will continue to run the triage system at both sites all morning for urgent matters.
