GP+ Nottingham City – extended hours access for patients
Offering Evening & Weekend Appointments bookable through your GP practice, patients registered at this practice are able to access additional routine appointments during evenings and weekends through the new GP+ service.
Appointments are available to see GPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists and Physiotherapists in a fully equipped accessible location on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham City Centre.
Opening hours are:
16:00-20:00 Monday – Friday
9:00-13:00 Saturday & Sunday
This is not a walk-in service, appointments are required and booked through the reception team at the surgery. For more information visit: www.ncgpa.org.uk/gpplus
We now offer patients at all of our surgeries a range of online services. These include the ability to book routine appointments online, to request repeat prescriptions and to view you summary medical record including past and current medications and recorded allergies.
You can register for these services by visiting your surgery and speaking with one of our receptionists. You will need to bring with you photographic identification (passport or driving license) and one other form of identification confirming your current address.
All patients over the age of 16 will now receive a text confirming their appointment within 24 hours of this being booked. As some appointments are booked in advance a further reminder will be text to you 24 hours before the appointment time. When you receive the reminder if the appointment is no longer convenient then you can cancel this appointment via a text reply.
Alongside the text reminder service you can also download the MJog messenger app by visiting www.mjog.com/messenger
The practice plans to use text messaging to inform patients of any other relevant information such as a reminder that their medication review is due, or to let you know when you can have your flu jab.
Please make sure you provide an update mobile number when you contact the surgery.
If you do not want to be contacted by text please let the surgery know and we will update your details accordingly.
Please take a look at our summer newsletter.
As always, we are extremely grateful to our Patient Participation Group for producing this.
