All patients are seen by appointment.

Many problems can be dealt with over the phone. Due to increasing same day demand, the doctors now triage all requests for urgent, same day appointments. We can then book you an appointment that day, as long as it is clinically necessary.

Routine appointments (e.g. medication reviews, planned follow up for long-term conditions) can be pre-booked via reception. At busy times, we are experiencing a 2-3 week wait for routine appointments. If your problem is more urgent, please inform reception who will put you on the triage list for that day.

Routine appointments may also be booked online. This has not been the case during the COVID pandemic, however these will gradually be re-added over the coming weeks, starting with flu vaccination appointments. The easiest and most effective way of doing this is via the NHS App. This can be downloaded onto your smartphone or you can access it online by following this link :

Our Practice Nurses have specialised in many conditions and can manage most of our patients who have a chronic disease such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma etc so it is not always necessary to make an appointment with the doctor for your annual review of your chronic disease.

All patients who are on any repeat medication should have a medication review once a year. These appointments usually need to be with the doctor.

For blood tests you will need an appointment with the Health Care Assistant.
