The midwife will look after you during pregnancy, childbirth and for a short time after birth. Newly pregnant women need to make a ‘booking appointment’ with the midwife at the surgery reception. The midwife will then contact you by telephone.
Clinics for women who usually attend the Victoria Health Centre are held at the St Ann’s Children’s Centre, off Woodborough Road. Clinics for women who usually attend the Mapperley surgery are held at that surgery on Tuesday mornings.
The practice are currently offering the Pertussis vaccine to all our expectant mothers from 20 – 32 weeks of their pregnancy. Please ask at reception or discuss with your Midwife and protect your baby from whooping cough.
