Influenza vaccination

You should have a flu vaccination every October if you are over 65 years of age, have diabetes, asthma or other respiratory disease, heart, kidney or liver disease, are immunosuppressed, or are the primary carer for a person in these groups. Such patients should also have a pneumonia vaccine every five years. If you are in doubt, our nurses will advise.

The childrens flu vaccination is being introduced in stages. The flu vaccination will be given as a nasal spray. For more information please visit www.nhs.uk/child-flu
