Other contact information

  • If you simply require advice, wish to discuss your blood test results, or have another matter which we may be able to resolve over the telephone, please call the surgery and leave your details with the receptionists. The doctor or nurse will call you back as soon as they are available, on the same day whenever possible.

The surgery telephone line is open from 8.00am – 6.30pm every weekday (except for Tuesdays at the Mapperley Surgery and Thursdays at the Victoria Health Centre, which close at 12.30pm on those days).

  • If you are too ill to come to the surgery, or are very disabled, we will visit you at home. Please call 0115 969 1166 before 10.30am to help us plan our day’s work.

If you are able to attend the surgery please do so, as we are typically able to deal with four or more patients in the surgery in the time it takes to do a single home visit.

Unfortunately, we cannot visit you outside the practice area if you are away from home.

  • The surgeries are closed overnight from 6.30pm until 8.00am. We are also closed for emergencies at weekends (6.30pm Friday until 8.00am Monday) and during Bank Holidays.

    • Outside normal surgery hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays) emergency cover for the practice is provided by NEMS Community Benefit Services Ltd Out of Hours service. The Out of Hours service provides medical care for patients that do not need Emergency Department Care. It is a service that is led by a range of clinical staff such as GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Care Practitioners.
    • This service is for problems which cannot wait until the next available surgery. You will be required to provide full information about your problem and will be expected if required to attend Platform One Practice (based on Station Street, Nottingham) if necessary. Advice may also be given if attending for a face to face appointment is not deemed to be required.
    • During out of hours you should contact the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life threatening situation.

    Please ring 0115 969 1166.

  • Evening & Weekend Appointments bookable through your GP practice
